ISL parents are invited to join our weekly drama/theatre workshops in English.
Great fun, meet new friends, develop self-confidence and public speaking techniques in a relaxed environment. We will play theatre games, improvise and try a few scenes.
No experience is required to join, just the desire to work and collaborate with other parents, have fun and try something new!
Weekly group sessions during term time take place on Tuesdays at school. Group sessions develop confidence and core skills in vocal and physical expression as well as introduce the course and exam materials. Group courses will also include some private one-to-one sessions which help each individual student perfect their pieces in preparation for the exam. Prices/hours include all stated group and private tuition / practice exam / supervision hours as well as materials. Starting mid-September.

Students will engage in group activities designed to develop advanced skills in vocal and physical expression. Students undertake research and prepare 2 or 3 performances pieces. For students with previous performance or LAMDA experience.
Students can take Grades 6, 7 & 8 attracting UCAS points in:
- Public Speaking, Acting or Musical Theatre
These private lessons are normally for one student (1:1). Private lessons at school will normally last 30 minutes. All prices/hours are per student and include stated tuition/supervision sessions, practice exam, final exam supervision and materials. Please note that only exam entry fees are an additional cost. Normally starting mid-September.

The teacher will work intensively with one student developing communication and performance skills and preparing the student for a LAMDA Public Speaking, Acting or Musical Theatre exam.

Private lessons @ home will normally last 45 or 60 minutes but can be arranged flexibly to accommodate the circumstances of the student and his/her family. All prices include stated tuition/supervision sessions, practice exam, exam supervision and materials. Please note that only exam entry fees are an additional cost.

Private lessons (1 to 1) take place at home. The teacher will work intensively with one student developing communication and performance skills and preparing the student for a LAMDA Public Speaking, Acting or Musical Theatre exam.
Online Private lessons in Theatre, Drama or LAMDA subjects will normally be for one student (1:1) but could also be arranged for two students (1:2) providing they are at a similar level. Private lessons online will normally last 30 minutes but can be adapted to 45 or 60 minutes. Lessons can be arranged flexibly to accommodate the age and circumstances of the student. All fees are per student and do not include any exam fees. Exams in mid-May complete the course.
