General Conditions
ACT2 agrees to provide courses, coaching, workshops and other activities to support clients who wish to develop their confidence, skills and interest in communication and performance.
ACT2 agrees to do this in line with the hours and costs agreed to in the registration made by the client.
ACT2 agrees to communicate promptly with the client and to respond to all correspondence within 48 hours of receipt.
Responsibilities
For all private sessions clients will be expected to give reasonable warning of absences. If the client does not show up for a pre-arranged private session, and did not give adequate notification, a portion of the session may be charged to compensate the teacher for allocating his/her time.
All requests to postpose a session should normally be sent to the teacher at least 24 hours before the session is due to take place.
For online activities, cliebts will be responsible for ensuring that they have a suitable environment for presentation and performance work. The environment should be quiet, free of interruption and clients will need adequate space in which to move around as required by their work.
Payments For Scheduled Courses
Payments of tuition fees will normally be made in one instalment before the start of the course.
Cancellation
No reduction in fees will normally be made by ACT2 in the case of cancellation or non-respect of the contract, or in the case of any absences or withdrawal of the client, unless due to evidenced ill-health, relocation or participation in a mandatory work event.
Missed Sessions
In the case of a teacher's absence due to illness or unforseen events/emergency, a replacement lesson will be proposed.
Registration
The ACT2 online registration form must be submitted and first instalment paid before any client can be confirmed on a course and normally before attendance. ACT2 will do its best to honour requests for lessons, teachers, days and times requested by the client but cannot guarantee that all requests will be successful.
Code of Conduct
The ACT2 Code of Conduct represents a few core values and is based on the belief that we must all aim to support the development of responsible, respectful and caring behaviours.
All members of the ACT2 community are expected to treat each other with respect in all circumstances.
Confidentiality.
The ACT2 director and associate teachers agree to fully respect the privacy of the client and will not divulge any personal information or original material written by the client unless formally agreed with the client in advance.
Pandemic
ACT2 undertakes to conform to all the anti-pandemic measures prevailing at any host venue. In the event of full or partial closure of the venue due to a pandemic, such as Covid-19, ACT2 undertakes to continue delivery of its courses and will do so online as necessary. Any online teaching will continue until the venue is able to re-open..
In agreeing these terms clients accept that the course delivery may change in these ways and that such a changes will not normally entitle clients to cancel a registration or receive a refund.
